I was the art director for the cover & interior for the Mental Health Journal for Black Women. This book needed to be encouraging and motivational. My inspiration came from one of my favorite designers, Jade Purple Brown. I love her style and remembered her collaboration with Sephora in 2020. My original designs were influenced by her but through each iteration and a title change the design simplified.
I designed the cover and interior for this 60-day devotional. During the launch of this book we met with editorial to understand our guidelines for the cover design. No female imagery, and look for symbolism from the bible that represent women. I loved all the covers and had a hard time narrowing it down, but option A stood out the most.
I designed the cover story on Cate Blanchett for Closer Weekly Magazine in 2017.

I designed the InTouch Ever Notice spread for two years, and worked closely
with our editor to help pick the best photos that matched the theme for each week.
